Peace Programs

In recent times, the horn of African region has seen unprecedented civil unrest, conflicts and wars. This has led to loss of millions of lives and economic downturn. Where democracy and diplomacy fails, WARDA engages communities in the horn of Africa to build cohesive environment for peace and prosperity. One of the core aims of our programs is to establish positive community engagement through dialogue, civic education, extensive lobbying between inter-communities, clans and leaders. The project aims to empower the youth and women through civic knowledge gathering and participation in democratic elections. The other core value our organization adds to this program is about building resilience through good friends to help bounce back to normalcy.
